On Sunday 12th October the civic parade will process through Hedon from approximately 1.30pm. There will be a service held at St Augustine's Church at 2pm. This year's event will include a special plaque unveiling on the Town Hall - Hedon has been awarded a special 'Spotlight on Yorkshire' award. Read More...

On Sunday 9th November there will be a parade followed by a service of remembrance held at St Augustine's Church from approximately 10.45am. This will be followed by the laying of wreaths at the war memorial in the cemetery on Ivy Lane. On Tuesday 11th November, there will be two minute silence observed in the Market Place at 11am. At the Annual Meeting, held on the 22nd May, Cllr Phil Hinch was elected as the 678th Mayor of Hedon. The Mayoress is Mrs Lisa Hinch. Cllr Suzie Wright was elected as the Deputy Mayor, the Deputy Consort is Mr Howard Wright. The Mayor's Chaplain is Rev Dr S Pulko. The Mayor's charity is Macmillan Cancer Support (local).
