*‘BROTHERS IN ARMS’* portrait to be displayed in the Town Hall - NOW ON DISPLAY. The portrait, commissioned by The Yorkshire Society, of Rob Burrow CBE and Kevin Sinfield CBE, is to donate to the new Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease as a tribute to their friendship. To raise funds for the Centre and MNDA, 7,777 limited edition prints were created honoring Rob's shirt number. At the Annual Meeting, held on the 22nd May, Cllr Phil Hinch was elected as the 678th Mayor of Hedon. The Mayoress is Mrs Lisa Hinch. Cllr Suzie Wright was elected as the Deputy Mayor, the Deputy Consort is Mr Howard Wright. The Mayor's Chaplain is Rev Dr S Pulko. The Mayor's charity is Macmillan Cancer Support (local).
