There will then be a wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial at the Ivy Lane cemetery. These works are necessary ahead of the future footbridge repair work on the Borough Arms footbridge and the Love Lane footbridge. At the Annual Meeting, held on the 21st May, Cllr Suzie Wright was elected as the 679th Mayor of Hedon. The Mayor’s consort is Mrs Emily Wilkin. Cllr Sam Banks was elected as the Deputy Mayor, the Deputy Consort is Ms Sam Morrod. The Mayor's Chaplain is Rev Dr S Pulko. The Mayor's charity is HEY Kids.
