The Old Hall is one of Hedon's most striking buildings, and stands conspicuously on the bend at the New Road / Thorn Road junction.
The heart of Hedon from the air : in the very centre is St. Augustine's Church, right of centre runs St. Augustine's Gate and left of centre is Church Lane. The green triangle just above and left of the church is Market Hill, and the grey, widened part of St. Augustine's Gate is the Market Place, where a weekly market is still held.
