Road works will be in operation on the following Hedon roads as Northern Gas Networks are carrying out some repair works. The following roads will be affected.
Warn Avenue for one week from the 16th February 2015 - will have traffic lights in operation.
Top of Merryman Garth for one week from 23rd February 2015 - 3 way traffic lights in operation.
Johnsons Corner for one week from End of February 2015/ 1st March 2015 - 3 way traffic lights in operation.

New Legal Advice Service
After being awarded the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s contract for generalist legal advice services, the Hull and East Riding Citizens Advice Bureau is delighted to announce that they are starting a new advice service in Hedon from April.
Advice and information will be available on a wide range of issues such as benefits, debt, consumer, employment, housing, relationships, legal matters etc. This advice will be accessible by appointment only at the Town Council, 36 St Augustines Gate Hedon. If you require an appointment please ring 01262 605644. Hull and East Riding Citizens Advice Bureau also offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities including: receptionist, administrator, assessor, adviser, information assistant, community engagement officer and trustee. COMMUNITY NOTICE BOARD
Residents will have seen the new Community Notice Board located on the “neb” outside Cooplands Bakery in the Market Place. The notice board was installed to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and is intended for use by community groups to advertise forthcoming events etc. It will also be used to advertise neighboring village events that may be of interest to Hedon residents however Hedon events advertising will take precedence. Anyone wishing to place a notice in the board should contact the Town Hall, St Augustines Gate Hedon, HU12 8EX – office opening hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00am till 3.00pm or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
